Command The Floor: Competitive Mindset Interactive Workshop
Saturday, May 16th | 2:00 – 5:00 pm | $75 ($60 before May 8th)
If you attended our previous 1-hour workshop, you were introduced to the fundamentals of performance psychology and mental skills in ballroom dancing.
This is the next step.
This 3-hour immersive workshop is designed to take those concepts off the page and put them directly into your dancing—immediately, in real time.
And even if you don’t compete, these tools will elevate your showcase performances, social dancing, and overall confidence and enjoyment on the floor.
What Makes This Workshop Different?
This is not a lecture.
This is not an overview.
This is in-depth, fully interactive training where you will:
- Learn a concept
- Get on the floor
- Apply it while dancing
- Refine it with guidance
Over and over—until it feels natural under pressure.
No partner? No problem.
Dance Makers instructors will be there to assist, and we’ll rotate partners throughout the workshop—giving you even more adaptability and real-world floor experience.
What Will This Workshop Address?
- Dancing better in lessons than in competition
- Losing your place or going blank mid-dance
- Feeling thrown off by floorcraft or other couples
- Struggling to recover after a mistake
- Overthinking, tension, or performance pressure
- Holding back instead of dancing full-out
What Will I Walk Away With?
- Tools you can use mid-dance, mid-performance
- Confidence in how to recover when things go wrong
- Greater control over your focus, energy, and presence
- Clear, actionable strategies—not just ideas
The Outcome
You don’t just understand performance skills.
You execute them—automatically, confidently, and under pressure.
Spots are limited to keep the experience highly interactive.
If you’re ready to bridge the gap between knowing and performing, this is your opportunity.

P.S. If you attended the first workshop, this is where everything comes together. If you didn’t, you can still jump in and gain full value.
